Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar:

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi today visited the homes of three bereaved Congress leaders in Gujarat or their families.

Rahul in the morning went to the Navrangpura residence of late party secretary Mirza Irshad Baig in Ahmedabad. He met the family members of Baig who had died after prolonged illness in his home town Modasa a few days ago.

Later he went to Gandhinagar to meet senior party leader and Rajyasabha member Madhusudan Mistry who had lost his son (owing to heart attack) two days back.

Notably, CM Vijay Rupani had also gone to Mistry’s residence yesterday while BJP president Amit Shah visited his place today to condole the death of his only son.

Rahul also went on to visit the residence of former CM Madhavsinh Solanki (father of Gujarat Congress president Bharatsinh Solanki), who had lost his wife sometime ago.
