Rupani congratulates people of Gujarat for BJP’s sixth consecutive victory and rejecting ‘Congress-Agent’ Hardik completely

Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani and state BJP president today congratulated PM Narendra Modi, party president Amit Shah and the people of Gujarat for the record sixth consecutive victory of the party in Gujarat assembly polls.

Talking to newsmen at BJP state headquarter Shrikamalam at Koba near here Rupani said that despite the low level campaign by Congress and its castist and appeasement based politics, the record sixth win of BJP was commendable. ‘Though the party’s target was to get more than 150 seats but to increase the vote share after 22 years of continuous rule and getting close to 100 seats was also not a small achievement. I congratulate the people of Gujarat foremost and also PM Modi and our president Amit Shah for his well planned strategy,’ he said.

To a query about PAAS leader Hardik Patel, Rupani said that people have completely rejected this ‘agent of Congress.’ ‘Questions were being raised about my own win and that of Nitinbahi and others but BJP has won even the so called hubs of Hardik’s agitation like Mahesana, Surat and Ahmedabad,’ he said.

Vaghani on the other hand said that BJP has won despite the highly negative campaign of Congress and its castist lines. ‘I now appeal Rahul ji to think twice before taking advise from his party leaders of Gujarat many so called stalwarts of whom have lost the election.’
