Ahmedabad: Rumour pertaining to crack in Shivranjani cross roads over bridge in Ahmedabad’s Satellite area caused about 3 km long traffic jam today afternoon here. The flyover inaugurated by then Chief Minister Narendra Modi is named after Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The bridge is perfectly alright and it was rumour responsible for panic. The traffic jam was caused by large number of vehicles that were returning on wrong side. Shivranjani flyover is uniquely built split flyover. The central part on the ground is allocated exclusively for Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS) traffic.
