BOT period over, no more toll tax on Chhani railway over bridge: Govt

Vadodara: All vehicles passing through the railway over bridge of Chhani village near Vadodara are given waiver from paying toll tax. The four lane railway over bridge was opened in year 2003. It was built under Built Operate Transfer(BOT) model. The State government had announced waiver from toll tax for two-wheelers, three-wheelers and tractors of farmers. As the BOT period is over, all vehicles are now allowed to use this bridge without any need to pay toll tax. These details were shared by Road and Building minister of Gujarat government Nitin Patel.
