Cloudy weather in Gujarat owing to Western atmospheric disturbances, likely to continue for 2-3 days
February 05, 2018
Ahmedabad:
The cloudy weather across Gujarat is owing to a western atmospheric disturbance and is likely to remain there for next two-three days but there is no likelihood of rain, Met Center Director Jayanta Sarkar said here today.
Owing to cloudy weather the minimum temperatures would rise but the maximum temperatures would fall a bit, he added.
‘The current cloudy weather is owing a western disturbance which is now moving away eastward but it would be replaced by another such system soon. Cloudy or partially cloudy weather would be there for next 2 to 3 days but there was not likelihood of rain,’ Sarkar said.
Notably owing to cloud and drop in maximum temperatures there will be relief from the feeling of sudden advent of summer which was being felt from past few days with temperatures soaring above 30 degree Celsius at most of the places. The rise in minimum temperature on the other hand will keep the nights warmer.
