February 06, 2018
Ahmedabad:
The farmers in Gujarat seemingly worried owing to cloudy weather and a bit of drizzle in the last 24 hours have good news from the met department which has reiterated that there won’t be any substantial rain which can damage any crop.
It has also said that the weather will be gradual become cloud-free after 24 hours.
In the next 24 hours only very light rain fall or trace of it might be witnessed at a few places, Met Center Director Jayanta Sarkar said here today.
The first western disturbance which had caused the cloudy weather across Gujarat has moved eastward but it has been replaced by another one which would also clear in next 2 days. The clouds would start disappearing after another 24 hours and in next two days it would be bright and sunny again, he said.
However till the next 2 days the maximum temperatures would remain below normal while minimum temperatures would remain above normal.
After 2 days the minimum temperatures would again fall a bit and the maximum would go up, he added.
Notably, the very faint rain at isolated places won’t do any big damage to crops.
