BSF nabs a big Pakistani fishing boat in creek area adjoining Kutch district of Gujarat

Bhuj:

The Border Security Force (BSF) today nabbed a Pakistani boat in Kotawari creek near border pillar number 38 at a distance of around 30 km from Koteshwar BSF camp in Kutch district of Gujarat.

A senior officer of BSF said that the patrol team of the 108 battalion of BSF saw the boat which was bigger than those normally nabbed in this fish and sea food rich area. 3 to 4 persons on-board fled through the nearby land border.

‘Nothing suspicious has been found in the boat. Some fishing equipment and fish were recovered from it. The boat has been seized,’ he said.

Notably, the coast guard had nabbed 7 Pakistani fishermen with their boat near IMBL off Jakhau coast on February 13.

The BSF normally nabs the 25 ft X4 ft boat fitted with a Chinese fan made propelling motor in this area which was used for doing illegal fishing in the creek area. But the boat nabbed today was of a much bigger size.
