Office of private data entry job provider company damaged in building fire in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad:

The office of a private company that claimed to provide data entry jobs was almost completely burnt in a fire that broke in Navrangpura area of the city this morning.

Additional Chief Fire officer Rajesh Bhatt said that the fire broke out on the fourth and top floor of the Viva-3 building near Navrangpura police station.

‘It took around 2 to 2 and a half hours to control the fire. The building was not designed in accordance with fire safety rules. The office situated on the top floor was almost completely burnt. The exact reason behind the fire was not yet known however it seems that it was most likely a short circuit,’ the Fire officer said.

The office of Comet Infoware Pvt Ltd was situated on the top two floors of the building.
