Gujarat BJP changes the dates of its State executive meet due to two national programmes
April 09, 2018
Gandhinagar: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP)’s State executive meeting in Gujarat will be held on 22-23 April instead of earlier announced dates of 12-13 April.
This information was shared by Gujarat BJP chief Jitubhai Vaghani today.
He said the party has nationally given a programme of symbolic dharna by members of parliaments in their constituencies on 12 April against Congress’s worse mentality of not allowing parliament to function.
Vaghani said Congress has wasted public money by not allowing parliament to function. Instead of discussing the issues of people, Congress MPs shouted slogans in the house and stalled parliament. BJP MPs on the other hand decided not to take 23-day payment due to non-function of parliament. Party MPs will sit on dharna and exposed the Congress party.
Vaghani said, the Prime Minister will dedicate Rs 100 crore memorial of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on April 13. Then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee led government had purchased this historical house for Rs 30 crore. This programme will be telecast live. Congress never cared for creating such memorial. Congress didn’t give Bharat Ratna to Ambedkar. Congress did’t put his portrait in parliament.
Due to two important programmes on 12-13 April nationally, the BJP has changed the dates of its state executive meet which is going to be held in Surat.
