Ahmedabad:
Bhavnagar today remained the hottest in Gujarat with 43.8 °C while Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Deesa were at joint second place in this regard with a common maximum temperature of 43 °C .
Despite rise in temperatures, however, owing to presence of moisture in the air due to changed wind pattern no heat-wave conditions prevailed anywhere in the state. South Westerly to westerly winds were carrying moisture from sea-side.
