-In four-seat by-poll in three municipalities of Gujarat, BJP has retained both seats that it had won previously while Congress has not been successful to win any of four seats. It has lost two seats it had won previously. The by-polls for municipality seats were held for two seats in Amod and one each in Porbandar and Chotila.
– The results of Gujarat board exams of 12th Science stream and GUJCET will be declared on 10th May.
– One person has been held in Khambha Chinkara poaching case in Amreli district.
– Unidentified persons shot dead a person driving car on Ahmedabad – Vadodara Expressway. Victim has not been identified yet.
