Video of Member of Parliament’s car using dedicated BRTS lane in Ahmedabad goes viral

Ahmedabad: A video has been viral on social media in which a member of parliament’s Toyota Innova car is cruising through the Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS) track in Satellite area of Ahmedabad . The BRTS track is dedicated to BRTS buses and selected permitted AMTS buses. Private vehicles are not allowed to use BRTS lane. However a car that has ‘member of parliament’ board on the front side and loud speaker for siren on the top has been captured in video. It is not known whether the member of parliament was inside the car when it was passing through a dedicated lane for BRTS.
Some time ago, same a similar car was seen at SG Highway of city without RTO number plate. The car (Ford Endevour) had ‘Saansad Lok Sabha’ sign instead of number plate on the back side.
