Bodies of lion and at least 9 blue bulls found in abandoned well in village of Gujarat

The bodies of a lion and at least nine blue bulls (Nil Gai) have been found in a well in Likhana village of Savarkundala taluka in Amreli district of Gujarat.

DFO Amreli Shakira Bugum said that the bodies of the lion and at least nine blue bulls have been pulled out of the abandoned well on the outskirts of the village.

Forensic post mortem of the bodies would be done to ascertain whether they were killed and thrown in the around 50 ft deep partially filled with water or fell down accidentally.

She said that prima facie it seems that the beast had died a few days ago. It is under investigation. More details could be shared by the evening.
