Gandhinagar: As per a new decision taken by the State government, renewal of driving license will be possible in any RTO office across the State.

According to a note issued by Transport Commissioner, the new rule will be effective from 7th of June 2018.

As per the note, renewal of license and change of name in license will be possible, however original license number, class, birth date, issuance date will not ben changed.

Applicant will need to access parivahan.gov.in website and select his/her choice of RTO office to take online appointment for renewal.
