In a suspected case of ‘group-suicide’, bodies of Vadodara businessman, wife and son found in car

In a suspected case of group-suicide the bodies of a businessman, his wife and young son were found in his car parked at a secluded place near Bhat village on Pawagarh-Shivrajpur highway in Panchmahal district of Central Gujarat.

Police said that the bodies of Vikram A Trivedi (55), a businessman and resident of Chitrakoot society in Makarpura area of Vadodara city, his wife Hinaben (50) and only child and son Harnil (23) were found in his car.

Poison, glass used to consume it and water bottle have been found lying inside the car.

Their bodies were sent for post-mortem in a hospital in Halol town.

The reason behind the act was not yet known.

Police has informed the brothers of the deceased business-man who live outside Gujarat. The matter was under investigation.
