Ganja worth Rs 2 crore seized in Gujarat, 5 including lady smuggler nabbed

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has seized Ganja worth around Rs 2 crore bharuch from Bharuch and nabbed five people including a lady receiver in this connection.
Zonal Director of NCB, Hari Om Gandhi said that based on a tip off around 600 kg Ganja worth Rs 2 crore (street value) was found and seized from a truck near Narmada crossing in Bharuch.
Apart from the driver and cleaner of the truck, who were acting as carrier of the drugs, 3 other receivers have also been arrested in this connection.
These three receivers are in fact big Ganja smugglers of Gujarat. Of them one is a lady from Ahmedabad. Another one is a Surat based man who was a native of Odisha and the third is a resident of Bharuch.
Gandhi said that the Ganja was being brought from Odisha.
Further investigation was on.
