Under effect of upper air cyclonic circulation spell of light to moderate rains at some places in Gujarat

Ahmedabad:

Parts of Gujarat mostly South Gujarat and Saurashtra received some rain today under the effect of an upper air cyclonic circulation due to which cloudy weather was also prevalent at several places.

According to IMD center here a morning upper air cyclonic circulation over south Gujarat region and neighbourhood at 3.1 km above mean sea level persists.

Several places in South Gujarat including Valsad saw light to medium intensity rain.

There is no formal arrival of monsoon in Gujarat as yet and the met department has forecast continuation of light to moderate rain in the next few days also.

In Ahmedabad and many other parts also partly cloudy weather was seen today. There is likelihood of thundershowers during night at several places including Ahmedabad like yesterday.
