AMC makes Birth and Death certificate issuance service online; plans more services to be made available online

Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) has launched online service for issuance of birth and death certificates. The service was launched by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani in a function on Saturday.
The AMC said it would shortly make other services online such as building use permission, fire no objection certificate, property tax name transfer, shop and establishment registration, professional tax registration and marriage certificate issuance.
The Chief Minister also launched JanYatra app for accessing host of Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS) services online such as advance journey planning, nearby BRTS station locator, QE code ticket purchase, status of bus arrivals, use and recharge of JanMitra card, integration with other operators Ola and Uber etc.
