Despite weakening of Monsoon 4 atmospheric systems over or around Gujarat

Even though monsoon has become less active across Gujarat yet there are four atmospheric system over or around the state.

Today also light to moderate rain occurred at a few places including Valsad and Amreli while forecast of a few spells of heavy rain at a few places during night is there.

In the last 24 hours ending 8 am this morning a total of 48 talukas across 15 districts had seen rainfall with Subir in Dangs seeing the maximum of 52mm.

According to the met bulletin, ‘ An upper air cyclonic circulation lies over west Madhya Pradesh adjoining SouthEast Rajasthan and extends from 2.1 to 4.5 km above mean sea level persists. Another upper air cyclonic circulation lies over South Gujarat region at 5.8 km above mean sea level. A comparatively weaker morning’s upper air over Kutch and adjoining South Pakistan at 1.5 km above mean sea level persists. Morning’s offshore tough extending from South Gujarat coast to Kerala coast also persists.’
