WPC team of BSNL searches out booster devices from Surat

Surat: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd(BSNL) has in a special drive found out China made booster devices that attract mobile tower’s signal which results into lesser signal and therefore poor connection to others.
Banned booster devices have been found out by BSNL’s wifeless monitoring organization wing(WPC) team from Mahidharpura diamond marker, Varachha mini market, diamond market, Bhagal soni market, Gopipura, Salabatpura textile market and Laskana etc areas.
BSNL general manager RK Nagayaj said BSNL would file criminal complaint against those involve in selling of booster devices under the Indian Telegraph Act 1985.
The highest number of booster devices were found out from Varachha mini diamond market. 15 persons caught using booster devices are served notice. It is believed that there are 400 booster devices in use across the city of Surat.
