3 who wished to undergo brain mapping test to prove rape allegation against them false and fictitious get court nod

Ahmedabad:

A local court here today allowed the Brain Mapping test of the 3 accused of alleged moving vehicle rape case even as the complainant, a 22 year old lady from Isanpur area of the city has herself been fallen in the shadow of doubt during the course of investigation.

The crime branch investigating the case today sought permission from the court for brain mapping test of the three accused Gaurav Dalmiya, Vrushabh Maru and Yamini Nair who have themselves given consent for it.

They have claimed that the allegations of the complainant that she was raped and filmed in a moving vehicle in March and June and was threatened and extorted money were outright false and malicious. They have said that they should go through lie detection process for which the brain mapping is a procedure.

Meanwhile, during the course of investigation some doubts about the incident have reportedly been corroborated.
