PAAS team asks AMC to allocate Nikol plot for Hardik Patel’s fast agitation

Ahmedabad: A Congress aligned group of Hardik Patel supporters from Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti(PAAS) on Monday called on the city Mayor and sought nod for allotment of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) plot in East Ahmedabad’s Nikol area for Hardik Patel’s fast unto death. PAAS leaders submitted applications to seek permission for holding fast agitation during 25 – 30 August at Nikol based open plot before the AMC and district collector. Hardik Patel has made announcement to sit on fast unto death demanding reservation quota in jobs and education for Patel community. Nikol, close to Bapunagar is majorly a Saurashtra originated Patel populated area of East Ahmedabad.
