Another arrest in groundnut soil mixing case, businessman who supplied low grade groundnut nabbed

Police has nabbed yet another culprit in groundnut soil mixing case who used to supply low quality groundnuts.

With this total number of arrests in the case pertaining to finding of soil mixed groundnut in a go-down in Pedhla village of Jetpur taluka in Rajkot district, has gone up to 30.

SP Rajkot Balram Meena today said that a businessman from Jetpur identified as Bipin has been nabbed in this connection.

‘He use to supply low grade groundnut for mixing it with the ones to be sold under MSP scheme,’ he said.
