Food grain broker opens fire at local Industrialist and pulse mill owner in Central Gujarat

A well-known local Industrialist and pulse mill owner in Dahod district of central Gujarat was shot at and injured in his office this morning by a broker of the food grain market.

Police said that broker in food-grain market Bhupendra V Dalal entered the office of Arihant pulse mill owner Prasanchand Jain (63) in Belsar area under rural police station at around 930 am and fired four rounds at him.

Jain was rushed to a local private hospital from where he was referred to Vadodara for better treatment. His condition is said to be out of danger.

Police has lodged a complaint in this regard and trying to nab the broker who allegedly tried to kill Jain due to old rivalry.
