Gujarat CM likely to visit Kutch to review scarcity situation

Bhuj: Monsoon 2018 is now in its departure phase. arid border district Kutch has received just 26.51% of total average monsoon rain this year. Rapar taluka in Kutch has witnessed just 5.65% rain while Lakhpat has received just 3.44% rain.
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani is likely to visit district headquarters Bhuj on September 20th to review the fodder and water availability.
The Chief Minister is likely to arrive in Bhuj at 3 pm. He will hold meeting with district officials in presence of local MLAs and MP and give them hearing. Taluka panchayat and municipality heads will also attend the meeting. The government is likely to announce scarcity in parts of Kutch soon after Rupani’s visit or in near future.
