Child falls in open borewell in North Gujarat village

Himatnagar: An around 2 year old boy has fallen in a deep bore in Ilol village of Sabarkantha district this evening.

Collector D K Pravina said that attempts were on to rescue the children.

According to primary reports the boy was playing near the open bore-well which was around 200 ft deep. He is said to have been trapped at a distance of 80 to 100 ft.

Efforts to ensure oxygen supply in the borewell were on to keep the child alive till he was taken out.
