If elections held in September 2018, BJP would win 24 of 26 Lok Sabha seats, Congress – 02 in Gujarat: Republic TV – Cvoter approval ratings

Gandhinagar: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) will win 24 out of total 26 seats in Gujarat in Lok Sabha election next year. BJP will also win Diu/Daman/Dadra Nagar Haveli seat of Lok Sabha neighboring Gujarat. This assessment was made on the basis of Republic TV – CVoter, National Approval Ratings survey showcasing the mood of the nation in the present time.

BJP had won all 26 seats of Lok Sabha in Gujarat in 2014. Congress with zero seat did have a vote share of 33.8%.

According to Republic – Cvoter survey, ‘Rather than a clean-sweep, BJP will win 24 seats in the state this time, and their vote share will also come down to 54.4%. Congress will open their account and win two seats, but its the vote share where they will prosper. A 5.1% increase will see them winning 38.9% vote share. The Others, who had 7.1% back in 2014, will get 6.7% this time around.’

The BJP is set to sweep Gujarat with 24 out of 26 seats.The Congress is set to pluck 2 seats out of the BJPs 2014 every seat win in Gujarat, this time around. In terms of vote share, the BJP is set to decline by 4.7% but still settle at a remarkable 54.4% of the vote. The INC is set to gain 5% and settle its vote share at 38.9%.
