ACB nabs CHC superintendent red handed taking bribe from doctor for salary payment

Ahmedabad: A class one government official and Superintendent of Community health center in Bavla area of Ahmedabad district was today caught taking bribe from a doctor for the payment of her salary.
Trap officer and PI of the Ahmedabad branch of the Anti Corruption Bureau of Gujarat police, R T Udavat said that superintendent of the CHC, K R Ram had demanded a bribe of Rs 8000/- from the the complainant, a part time doctor of gynecology in the center, for putting his signature on her salary bill.
He was caught red handed accepting the bribe in the CHC today.
