Saurashtra School parcel bomb case culprit held, had earlier killed two with bomb

Rajkot: The police in Rajkot has nabbed the man behind the incident of sending a parcel bomb in a school in Upleta town of Rajkot district in Gujarat.

SP Rajkot Balram Meena said that the man identified as Natha Dobariya(Patel) aged around 55 years has been arrested in this connection is expert in making such bombs. The improvised bomb which was kept in a parcel and was sent to the owner of the Krisha School in Upleta through a courier was sent by him with an intention to kill him. The school owner had according to him purchased a house in Upleta years ago in 16.5 lakh but paid only 10 lakhs so he wanted to take revenge.

It has also been revealed that he he was earlier involved in killing two people with a bomb in Upleta in 1999.

Meena said that he was nabbed on the basis of CCTV footage and hand writing on the parcel bomb.

The matter is being further investigated.
