IIS officer and Director of ROB nabbed red handed taking bribe from artist cum magician

Ahmedabad:The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police has nabbed red handed a class-1 officer of the Indian Information Service (IIS) and the Director of Regional Outreach Bureau (ROB) under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting taking bribe from an artist cum magician for selection in an audition by the bureau.
Police said that Director Manish R Gautam had demanded money from the artist who had made a secret complain in the ACB.
A trap was laid yesterday and Gautam was nabbed from his office in Nehrunagar here accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 from the complainant.
Notably, the ROB, also takes care of Song and Drama Division of the government.
