Lioness in Devaliya Safari Park of Gujarat dies

Sasan Gir: One lioness named “BANDI” in Devalia Safari Park today died due to old age.
CCF D T Vasavada said that the lioness aged around 16-17 years died due to the old age and general weakness, today at around 14:00 hrs.
The PM and last rights will be done as per the set procedure.
Notably in the same safari park in Gir Somnath district, around 13 km from here, a driver and temporary staff of forest department was killed in lion attack a few days ago. Two others were injured.
