Foreign Trade Development Officer caught red handed taking bribe from exporter for correction in foreign trade license from exporter in Gujarat

Rajkot: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat Police today nabbed red handed the Foreign Trade Development Officer (FTDO) taking a bribe of Rs 4000 from an exporter here.

Assistant Director of the ACB D P Chudasama said that FTDO Liladhar K Srivastava (56) had demanded Rs 6000 from an exporter here for correcting the PAN number in his foreign trade license. He had paid Rs 2000 in the morning and later informed the ACB which laid the trap and caught the officer red handed from his office here accepting the remaining amount of Rs 4000.
