BJP to get 24, Congress 02 seats in Gujarat if Lok Sabha elections are held in December 2018: CVoter Republic ABP News opinion poll

Gandhinagar: Recent opinion poll – survey by CVoter which was relayed on Republic TV and ABP News shows that ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will get 24 of total 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat if elections are held in December 2018.

“26 seats are up for grabs in Gujarat and the story persists that the BJP has maintained its formidable hold over Gujarat and the opposition fails to make any major dent in the state.BJP is set to get 24 which is a 2 seat drop from 2014,” reports Republic TV.

The report says: In terms of vote share as well, while the Congress is slated to gain about 5% from its 2014 dismal performance there has been no significant change in comparison with the November edition, with the BJP losing 0.6% vote-share and the Congress gaining 0.8%. According to the December National Approval Ratings, the BJP is projected to garner a vote-share of 54.2% followed by Congress with 38.9% vote-share and 6.9% for others.
