PM Modi has become fearful of Mahagathbandhan: Ahmed Patel in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Senior Congress leader, Political Secretary of Sonia Gandhi and Rajya Sabha MP Ahmed Patel today said that PM Narendra Modi’s statements about the Mahagathbandhan (grand-alliance) and his body-language shows that he was afraid of it.

Speaking to media persons, Ahmed Patel, who was here to participate in the extended executive committee meet of Gujarat Congress, said that the way PM Modi has started to speak about the Mahagathbandhan, showed that he has some kind of fear.

‘You can see this fear in his body-language too. Those who used to claimed that BJP would rule for 50 years have now changed their stand. They now say that if they loose this time they won’t be able to come back to power for next 200 years. It also shows the fear. They know that they have not done anything and so the public won’t support them,’ he said.

‘Now when the like minded parties were coming together for the grand-alliance, such a fear and concern to the BJP should be there. They must think why everybody was against them,’ Patel said.

Patel claimed that the BJP government has ruined and destroyed the economy of the country. There was a debt of Rs 82 lakh crore on the country which was not a small thing. This government has not performed but only indulged in event management and false publicity.
