Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over West Rajasthan and Pakistan causing cloudy weather, light rain in parts of Gujarat:Met Director

Ahmedabad: Parts of Kutch district today experienced light rain while such likelihood for North Gujarat was also not ruled out due to cloudy weather at several places caused by an upper air cyclonic circulation over Western Rajasthan and Pakistan.

IMD Ahmedabad center Director Jayant Sarkar said that the cyclonic circulation induced by western disturbances was causing cloudy weather. It could cause light rain at isolated places over Kutch and North Gujarat.

The minimum temperatures have gone up due to cloudy weather but it would be cleared from tomorrow after which the weather is again likely to be colder with 2 to 3 degrees drop in temperatures,’ he said.

Meanwhile, some places in Lakhpat area of Kutch district saw light rain today. Ahmedabad was also partly cloudy but chances of rain here were minimal.
