ACB nabs engineer in central Gujarat taking Rs 30 thousand bribe from contractor

Godhara:The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police today nabbed red handed an assistant engineer of the construction wing of Taluka Development Officer’s office in Halol of Panchmahal district taking a bribe of Rs 30,000/- from a contractor.
ACB Gambhirsinh Padheriya said that Additional Assistant Engineer Diptesh S Vasava (29) had sought bribe for passing the pending bills.
Based on a secret complaint by the complainant a trap was laid and the engineer was nabbed raid handed from his office.
