Congress postpones CWC meeting in Gujarat and all associated events

Gandhinagar: Congress president Rahul Gandhi has postponed the meeting of Congress Working Committee (CWC) and public meeting, both scheduled to be held at Ahmedabad and Adalaj(Gandhinagar) on February 28.
Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala shared this information on micro bloging site Twitter today afternoon.
He said the decision was taken by party chief Rahul Gandhi in view of the prevailing security condition.
It should be mentioned that UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Congress president Rahul Gandhi, party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi and former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh along with others were to arrive tomorrow in Ahmedabad and visit Gandhi Ashram and Shahibaug based Shahid Smarak.They were to attend CWC meeting at Sardar Smarak Bhavan Trust hall and later were scheduled to address a public meeting at Adalaj based Trimandir campus.
