ACB nabs Commercial Tax inspector in Central Gujarat taking bribe

Nadiad: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police today caught red-handed a Commercial Tax Inspector here taking a bribe of Rs 500 from a businessman.
Assistant Director DP Chudasma said that commercial tax inspector Dilbagmiya Nabimiya Malek had demanded Rs 500 for a minor correction (replacing the wrongly mentioned Savings Bank account with current account) in the application for refund of deposit related to TIN number generated 5 years ago.
He was nabbed from his chamber in commercial tax office at Sardar Patel Bhawan here during a trap laid by the ACB.
