SC quashes Gujarat govt notification banning sand export

Surat: The Supreme Court of India has quashed a notification issued by Gujarat government nine years ago which imposed ban on export of sand from the State. A mineral stockist Jayesh Kalathiya had challenged the State government notification in the Supreme Court. After nine years of legal fight, the Supreme Court has quashed the notification.
