Gandhinagar: Just before imposition of the model code of conduct today, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani made announcement to appoint Waghodia MLA Madhu Shrivastava as chairman of Gujarat Agro Industries Ltd. Shrivastava was sulking since long for want of some kind of share in power as repeatedly elected senior MLA. He had also openly expressed his wish to contest Lok Sabha election from Vadodara seat.

The Chief Minister also made announcement of appointment of Mahipatsinh Chavda as new Vice Chancellor of Maharaja Krushnakumarsinhji University, Bhavnagar.
