Prashant Vala appointed Gujarat BJP Media Cell Convener

Gandhinagar: Gujarat BJP spokesperson Bharat Pandya today in a statement announced Prashant Vala’s name as new convener of State BJP Media Cell.
Pandya said the appointment has been mae by State party chief Jitubhai Vaghani.
Vala will replace Dr. Harshad Patel who has been recently appointed new Vice Chancellor of Teachers’ University in Gandhinagar.
Hailing from Junagadh, Prashant Vala has been in business in agriculture sector. Vala is considered close to Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. Vala shifted from Rajkot to capital Gandhinagar after Rupai became Chief Minister. Vala is known face as regular participant in TV debate across Gujarati news channels as representative of BJP.
Vala writes column on economic affairs in Rajkot based popular evening daily Akila.
Vala is member of Gujarat State BJP Executive Committee. He has been also a State Convener of State BJP Investors’ Protector Cell.
