Amit Shah, Nirmala Sitaraman to campaign in Gujarat on April 6

Gandhinagar: BJP president Amit Shah would arrive here this evening and likely to do extensive poll campaign/public contact in various parts of his constituency tomorrow.

A senior BJP leader said that the detailed program of Shah was being finalized and the state party president Jeetu Vaghani would make a formal announcement about it in the afternoon.

As per the tentative schedule so far, Shah would visit Vejalpur area in Ahmedabad which falls under Gandhinagar LS seat in the morning and later would go to Sabarmati locality in the evening and would also visit a temple in Ranip area and go to Bopal in the night.

Shah had after a grand rally and road show filed his nomination on March 30.

A large part of Gandhinagar seat, earlier represented 6 times by veteran BJP leader L K Advani and once by Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, is in Ahmedabad city.

Apart from his seat, Shah would also do campaigning on several other LS seats in Gujarat.
