Ahmedabad hottest again at 43 °C, met forecasts rain in parts of Gujarat from April 14 to 16

Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad remained hottest in Gujarat at 43 °C today even as met department has forecast of slight rise in temperatures in the next two days and light to moderate rain in parts of the state on three days after that ie from April 14 to 16.

The rain will happen due to an upper air system under the influence of western disturbances and the changed wind pattern.

Ahmedabad city at highest 43.0°C was almost 4 degrees hotter than what could have been normal.

The bulletin issued by IMD center here today has said that there was a likelihood of 1 to 2 degree rise in maximum temperatures in the next 2 days.

The rain related forecast is as follows-

DAY-3: (Valid from 0830 Hrs. IST of 14/04/2019 to 0830 Hrs. IST of 15/04/2019):-

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers very likely at isolated places in the districts of North Gujarat region namely Banaskantha; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Amreli.

DAY-4: (Valid from 0830 Hrs. IST of 15/04/2019 to 0830 Hrs. IST of 16/04/2019):-

Light to moderate rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Gandhinagar, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Surat, Vadodara and Amreli.

DAY-5: (Valid from 0830 Hrs. IST of 16/04/2019 to 0830 Hrs. IST of 17/04/2019):-

Light to moderate rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of North Gujarat region namely Banaskantha.
