Non-seasonal rain/hailstorm in parts of Rajkot district

Gandhinagar/Rajkot: Various places in Gondal and Jasdan Taluka in Rakot district of Saurashtra region in Gujarat today saw non-seasonal rain, thunderstorm and hailstorms.
Villages like Kaneshara, Shantinagar, Virnagar in Jasdan taluka and Hadamtala, Umwala and Kolithad in Gondal taluka saw non-seasonal rain
. Meanwhile, temperatures across Gujarat remained moderate today.
Rajkot with the maximum of of 41.9 °C was the hottest place in the state today. But most of the areas in the state saw mercury remaining below 40 °C. Only five places including Ahmedabad 41 °C, saw over 40 temperatures.
