A youth in central Gujarat involved in alleged love-jihad nabbed

By our correspondent, Vadodara: An accused of alleged love-jihad has been nabbed by police in Manjapur area of Vadodara district.

Around 19 years old Tausif has been nabbed after mother of a Hindu girl had filed complaint that he had raped the girl and made a video and perhaps uploaded on the social media too. He had also taken the girl to a local mosque with an intention to covert her to Islam.

He had met the girl in March this year during Matriculation and class 12 exam. The girl was a class 10 board examine. He had taken her mobile number also and later became intimate with her. He was allegedly brain-washing her for accepting Islam.

Police today said that it has arrested him and during initial investigation it has come to fore that the youth had around two years ago also tried to do a similar crime with another girl. He was caught then also but was released as he was a minor by age then.
