PAAS leader Dinesh Bambhaniya arrested for not appearing in court in sedition case

Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar:
The crime branch of Ahmedabad police has arrested PAAS leader Dinesh Bambhaniya on the basis of a warrant issued by a local court in Ahmedabad which was hearing a sedition case in which he was co-accused with Hardik Patel.
A police officer said that the court had issued warrant as Dinesh was not appearing before it for several dates despite summons.
He said that he would be produced before the court for hearing and the court would take a call on his bail.
Notably, the sedition case lodged in October 2015 was in connection with state wide violence allegedly incited by PAAS leaders after Hardik was detained following a rally here in August that year.
