Notorious extortionist Aslam Bodiyo arrested from Madhya Pradesh by Vadodara Police

Vadodara: Notorious extortionist Asllam alias Bodiyo Haidarmiya Sheikh has been arrested by Vadodara police from Mandu in Madhya Pradesh. He is accused of demanding Rs. 11 lakh extortion from a former manager of Vadodara based finance company.
Aslam was arrested after car chase that went on through around 100 km distance in Madhya Pradesh.
Sun pharma road, Akshar bungalows based Ashish Rameshbhai Shinde had given complaint against Aslam Sheikh, Ramzan Sindhi, Imran Chauhan, Siddik Malek and Ramiz for seeking Rs. 11 lakh extortion money.
Police had earlier arrested Ramzan, Imran and Siddik while main accused Aslam and Ramiz had gone underground.
The case was handed over to city crime branch. Aslam’s location was traced to Mandu in Madhya Pradesh where police chased his car and finally nabbed Aslam.
Aslam had been booked in more than 36 cases of crimes in the past.
