Three eunuchs arrested for extortion, attempt of murder in Surat; victim hospitalized and critical

Surat: Cases of nuisance of eunuchs are increasing. In a latest case, three eunuchs thrashed a person in Surat for not giving Rs. 21,000. The injured victim youth is hospitalized and his situation is critical. Police has arrested three eunuchs and booked them for attempt to murder and extortion.

Gehrilal alias Govardhan Kasturji Khatik became father of a son on August 31st. On 3rd September morning, three eunuchs visited his place to seek money over birth of a boy. They demanded Rs. 21,000 and later scaled down the demand to Rs. 11,000. Gehrilal agreed to pay Rs. 7,000 however eunuchs were not in agreement to this. They thrashed Gehrilal and caused serious head injury following which Gehrilal was admitted to SMIMER hospital.

Limbayat police arrested Renuka Kunvar Majli alias Shankar Lakshman Jadav (21, originally from Kishanpur, Bihar), Bhagyashri Kunvar Sita Kunvar alias Sushant Laddu Bishnoi(23, originally from Odisha) and Sagri Kunvar Archana Kuvar alias Tanga Nabina Malik(25, originally from Odisha).
