No more new thermal power plant to be given approval in Gujarat: State govt.

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat today announced its decision that no new thermal power plant will be permitted in the State. The Chief Minister said only non conventional energy sources will be used to cover 8-10% additional power generation capacity required in the State every year. The decision has been taken in line with state government’s green Gujarat- clean Gujarat policy.
