ACB nabs Assistant Social Welfare Officer red handed taking bribe in Central Gujarat

Nadiad: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police today nabbed an Assistant Social Welfare Officer taking bribe from a man here for clearance of due rent of his property leased to the Assistant Director Scheduled Caste welfare office for running a girl’s hostel under government scheme.
Assistant Director of ACB D P Chudasama said that ASWO J L Parmar had sought Rs 6000 bribe from the man for clearance of due rent bill of six months. The man had done a rent contract for the girl hostel at his premises in Preeti complex at Santram road here at a monthly rental of Rs 36940/-.
The ACB laid a trap and nabbed him from his office premises red handed.
